Comments
When visitors leave comments on the website, we collect the data shown in the comment form, as well as the visitor's IP address and the browser's user agent string to help detect spam.
After approval of your comment, your profile picture will be visible to the public in the context of the comment. If you upload photos to the site, avoid uploading photos that contain embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Website visitors can download and extract location data from images on the website.

Newsletter and marketing

If you have shopped at the Poppyshop, we may send you information and newsletters about products or services similar to what you have purchased, based on our existing customer relationship. You always have the right to opt out of future marketing. Every e-mail you receive from us will contain a clear unsubscribe link where you can easily choose not to receive further newsletters. If you prefer not to receive such communications, you can also contact us directly at vibeke@poppydesign.no to be removed from the recipient list. We only send newsletters to customers who have given their consent, or to existing customers with a relevant customer relationship. Your personal data will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

Cookies
If you leave a comment on our website, you can choose to save your name, email address and website in cookies. This is for your convenience so you don't have to fill in your information again the next time you leave a comment. These cookies last for one year. If you visit our login page, we will set a temporary cookie to determine if your browser accepts cookies. This cookie contains no personal data and is deleted when you close your browser. When you log in, we will also set up several cookies to store your login information and screen preferences. Login cookies last for two days, and screen selection cookies last for one year. If you select "Remember me", your login will persist for two weeks. If you log out of your account, the login cookies will be removed.

Embedded content from other websites
Posts on this site may include embedded content (eg videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the same way as if the visitor had visited the other website. Who we share our data with
If you request a password reset, your IP address will be included in the password reset email.

How long we keep your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata will be preserved indefinitely. This is so that we can automatically recognize and approve follow-up comments instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For users who register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can view, edit or delete their personal information at any time (except that they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.

Your rights over your data
If you have an account on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including data you have provided to us. You can also request that we delete all personal data we have about you. This does not include data we are required to retain for administrative, legal or security purposes.

Where your data is sent
Visitors' comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service.
